Software provider Microgaming has confirmed in a press release the sale to Games Global Limited.
More specifically, the software developer is selling its Quickfire distribution business and games portfolios to newcomer Games Global Limited.
Included in the sale agreement are both the international distribution rights of Microgaming games and the rights to the popular jackpot slots. One of the best-known jackpot slots from Microgaming is certainly Mega Moolah.
However, this is not all that Games Global Limited has acquired. The very extensive customer base of the software provider Microgaming also passes to the newcomer. These are more than 260 gaming operators and over 900 different global gaming brands.
Games Global Limited was only founded in 2021 and is currently still waiting for regulatory approvals. As such, the transaction will not be legally completed until the second quarter of 2022.
Microgaming states that it wants to focus more on the further development and licensing of its sports betting technology as well as on the distribution of its gaming platforms in the future.
Here you can still find great online casinos which have Microgaming games in their portfolio.
